Regarding homes for sale in Newport Height’s Cliffhaven, there have been 2 recent closed sales on tear-down lots that seem to be pretty good deals. The most interesting one is 418 Pirate Road – remember this was the house listed at 600k (ridiculously low) and had over 20 offers. Well, it’s officially recorded at 920k, over 50% increase from the original price. This was a great location and the lot is 7,540 square feet.
The other tear down sale in Cliffhaven is 715 St. James Place. This was a short sale that the listing agent double ended. The bank approved the transaction at $992,000 for this lot of nearly 9,735 square feet. This is one of the few properties that backs up to the ENC below. Typically, these lots are not flat in the rear.
