Finding homes for sale in Newport Heights, Newport Beach seems to be getting more difficult with the lack of inventory combined with the current buyer demand. 223 Ocean View Avenue just hit the market as a short sale and went directly into escrow. That’s really no surprise since the asking price was $800,000 (not approved by bank yet). This property was previously available for $1,695,000 in 2009. I remember showing it to a family who was interested due to the view that the property currently has. The floor plan is a bit funky, but if the bank approves this sale at 800k (at $490 per square foot) I believe that will be a great deal for the buyer.
